Louis Harris is the owner/operator of Liquid Destination. His experience is second to none when it comes to surfing the Maldives. Louis has surfed all over the Maldives and his reputation is built on his ability to make the right call at the right time. Louis believes that his understanding of surf forecasting and local weather patterns is the key to giving his guests an experience that others cant offer in the Maldives. Louis has worked closely with his surf guides over the years to establish an intimate knowledge of the area. He believes that it takes a long time to understand the region and each surf guide has spent years surfing all possible areas gathering an understanding of each breaks best swell direction, wind direction and tidal movements.

Ross Pottinger

Ross Pottinger is a professional photographer who began his craft in architectural photography. After completing university Ross traveled extensively through Europe spending time photographing for Snowboard magazines and surfing the European coastline. Ross has captured many memorable surfing and lifestyle shots of our guests in the Maldives and has constantly provided an excellent level of customer service to his groups on board the Nautilus One. Ross is our premier photographer and every trip Ross does the guests are amazed at the quality of photos they receive from him.

Nick Welles

Nick Welles comes courtesy of Santa Cruz via the North Shore of Hawaii. Nick resides at Sunset beach throughout most of the year working for Eric Arkawa surf boards. Nick originally traveled to the Maldives in 2004 and has worked with Liquid Destinations group bookings of professional surfers from all over the world. Nick has gained extensive knowledge over the years and guests absolutely love his style and approach to running his trips. Nick understands as good as anyone what makes a surf trip great and constantly provides an amazing surf tour for his guests.
